Admission and Withdrawal
1. A student who gets scholarship and requested for TC in the middle of the session have to pay the admission and tuition fees for the whole session.
2. Transfer certificates will be issued on receipt of a written application from the Parents/Guardian, mentioning therein the Class, Section, Roll No. and Admission No. of the student.
3. No T.C. will be issued unless all the arrears are paid.
4. On matters of admission and withdrawal the decision of the Director/Principal/H.M.’s is final.
Attendance
1. Student must arrive at least 10 minutes before the session begins. Regularity and punctuality are demanded of all the students.
2. A student must attend the school from the opening day till the last day of the scholastic year.
3. Leave notes are obligatory. Leave must notes be applied for in advance. When the absence is due to unforeseen circumstances, due entry must be made in the Absence from the school section of the diary, signed only bay the Parents/Guardians to be then counter-signed by the Principal/H.M. before being admitted to the classroom.
4. A Student who has been absent for three and more than 3 days at stretch because of illness is expected to produce a doctor’s certificate before returning school.
5. Absence without leave application for a week or more could be considered as the withdrawal of the student from the school and the student’s name could be struck of the rolls.
6. Readmission of fees of Rs. 300/- will be imposed once the student is struck of the rolls.
7. If the students on the their own, enmasse absent from the school on important occasions and just prior to the examination will not be allowed to appear the examinations.
8. Students who have to leave the school during class hours must get the principal’s / H.M’s written permission.
9. Students with a cumulative attendance of less than 75% will not be allowed to sit for the promotion examination and will not be detained or he/she have to paid penalty.
10. Late comers must get proper entries made in the Late Arrival Section of the diary before entering the classroom and those who are more than 7 days should report to the office along with parents.
School Fees
1. The school fees and others dues may be revised to meet the exigencies.
2. Fees have to be paid for the whole term by the students who leave the school before its completion.
3. All item of fess, once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstance.
4. Admit Card, Mark Sheet and certificate will not be issued to pupils who have arrears in the school.
5. Parents must produce the fee receipts as proof of payment in case of any doubt.
6. Fee will be received at the School fees counter, Parents/ Guardian are requested to pay the fees regularly for the better running of the school.
Examination and Promotion
1. No one is allowed in the examination Hall without the Hall permit. Examination written without the Hall permit will be considered invalid.
2. There will be 4 examination, such as : 1st periodic test, 1st Term Test, 2nd Periodic Test and sessional exam. Progress Cards will keep the parents informed of the child’s progress. The Progress Card must be signed by the Parents / Guardians and submitted within three days from the date of issue.
3. Parents / Guardians should contact the school office if the progress Card is not issued within three weeks after and examination.
4. Promotion are based on the whole year’s work performance. Hence, regularity in work and attendance are of almost importance.
5. A student who fails in any one of the major subjects or in two subjects is not eligible for promotion. The decision of the Principal/HM’s / School Authority on matters of promotion and detention is final.
6. Besides the four major examinations; weekly test, class works, home works and oral examination are regular conducted of study.
7. The results declared after the Sessional Examination are final and cannot be reconsidered.
Co-curricular & Extracurricular Activities:
A lot of emphasis is given to train up children to have an integrated personality and opportunities to develop leader are provided by the school authorities.
The school aims at introducing the following Clubs Service activities such as
1. Eco-club (Environmental Awareness programmer).
2. Literary Association (English /Manipuri/Hindi).
3. Maths / Science / Social Science Clubs.
4. Music / Singing / Dance Clubs.
House System and Duties
St. John School has a unique system of houses. The principal and the house masters will delegate the responsibilities and assign duties to the selected students.

The principal and the house masters select Perfects/ Vice-Captains / Head boy / Head Girl and delegate responsibilities to carried out for the smooth functioning of the school.
School Uniform
BOYS: White Shirt, Pair of Black Trousers, Black leather Shoes and white socks, Jersey (Maroon colour), School Belt (Red & Blue), School Badge, Neck Tie (Red), white socks & white pant with house T-shirt (Wednesday Only).
GIRLS: White Shirt, Skirt (Black Tunic), Black leather shoes and white socks, Jersey (Maroon colour), School belt (Red & Blue), School Badge, Neck Tie (Red), white socks & white skirt/black tunic house T-shirt (Wednesday Only).
1. It is compulsory for every student to come to the school on all class days and at school functions neatly dressed in their school uniform. The shirts should be tucked, shoes polished and tie neatly done.
2. A student who come to school without his/her complete uniform will not be allowed in the classroom and may be sent back home.
3. Carrying/wearing fashionable or luxurious items (like gold earring, rings, chain etc.) is not permitted. In case any lost of such items happens, the students will bore of their own and the school will not take any responsibility for the matter.
